Alanda Theriault-Johns

Alanda Theriault-Johns is a lecturer and online education innovator in liberal arts at Georgian College, Barrie. She holds degrees in cultural anthropology and Western philosophy, and teaches a variety of courses that focus on applied ethics, critical thinking, and the history of ideas. Her research and writing examines the many ways in which philosophical thinking aides us to more clearly address many pressing contemporary issues that touch on feminism, politics, and online citizenship. She also works as an associate publications editor at the Centre for Research on Canada-Russian Relations and has an active public lecture schedule where she is delighted to share her love of philosophy with her community in her hometown of Barrie, Ontario.
