    Larry Black

    Larry Black was born in Middle Sackville, NB, and has degrees from Mount Allison, Boston University and McGill. He taught at Laurentian (9 yrs) and Carleton (30 yrs) universities. At Carleton, he was Director of the Institute for Soviet & East European Studies and served on the Board of Governors.

    Larry Black has been a Research Fellow for NATO, an instructor for CSIS and has published over 50 books on Russia, the USSR and Canadian-Russian relations, most recently, Eternal Putin? Confronting Navalny, the Pandemic, Sanctions and War with Ukraine (2023).
