Sing! Sing! Sing! Louise Pope Memorial Event

This event is offered in-person only
Tuesday November 18th, 2025, 1:30 – 3:30

People who participated last year will tell you that this choir experience is great fun and a wonderful antidote to the crazy world we’re living in now! Join us on Tuesday, November 18th at Grace United Church, 1:30 – 3:30 for a comfortable, creative afternoon making music with Brett Caswell.

We’re bringing Brett back again (with a new song) to ease us into the Christmas season and celebrate the Louise Pope Memorial Event. Louise, who was TAB’s founding Chair and loved music, passed away in November 2024.

This is a fun session for people of all abilities to make a joyful noise together. Brett Caswell will create a casual choir experience so we can all enjoy this feel-good, giant sing-along, whether we can sing or not!

Brett will spend the first hour teaching simple harmony to one song. Each participant will choose either Low, Middle or High range. After learning the song, we’ll enjoy our usual break with Grandmother’s and Grandothers. Then we’ll gather again, clustering in our respective groups. Low, Middle and High will stand (if able) and face the stage to perform the song. We’ll perform the song twice and follow up with some more songs just for fun… sort of an encore after all our hard work.

Brett’s passion for music has been a defining part of his life for over 25 years. His first two decades in the industry were dedicated to songwriting, recording and captivating audiences with his performances on piano and guitar. Beyond his artistry, Brett also nurtured young talent through rock camps and private lessons, sharing his deep knowledge and love for music.
Six years ago, Brett discovered the transformative power of group singing and it changed the course of his career. He founded *Choir Revolution*, an inclusive, interactive community choir where singers of all abilities are welcome. What began as a local choir in Barrie has blossomed into a movement, with Choir Revolution now inspiring voices in Collingwood, Bracebridge, Orillia, Midland and even Toronto. Brett is on a mission to bring the joy of group singing to communities far and wide.
